Hi
I have tried different brands, and the best thing that I found that works quickly is Vaseline... The others work but in opinion not as fast as Vaseline..What is the best medicine/cream to use on diaper rashes?
desitin, beaudroux butt paste, aveno etc are all good. the key is to be sure to keep on the diaper area and be sure to clean good at each diaper change. What is the best medicine/cream to use on diaper rashes?
Desitin, u can find ant any store in the baby section
Eucerin it works on everything from dry skin to rashes to redness to chapped skin its a little expensive but only a little does the trick.
sudocream is awesome as is the rash lotion from arbonne (you can buy it online) but sometimes just letting some air get at it helps more
Fresh air when possible (let your baby sleep naked on a waterproof pad) and cloth diapers paired with occasional balmex will help.
Avoid disposable diapers unless you have to leave the house. Cloth diaper service is healthier and cheaper anyway.
Definitely Butt Paste. They even have a website you can order from. Walmart and Target sell them. I've tried everything from Arbonne's to the basic Desitin. Butt Paste works the best!!!
I was a desitin baby %26amp; have always used it on kid's I've cared for. I'm about to be a first time mom %26amp; Desitin will be my choice as well
I use Balmex and it works great my baby has never had a real bad rash and i apply it when I change her.
we use budrous butt paste. Walgreen's has it. it is GREAT!! it does stain clothing so watch out for that, but it sticks to the bottom so well and really soothes owey hinneys. good luck!
I use butt paste too. It is amazing! Every time you change a diaper let your child go naked for 15-30 minutes and then put the cream and diaper on and it will be gone in no time!
A%26amp;D ointment, the brown label not the blue. My son had extremely sensitive skin when he was born and i found he was allergic tohuggies wipes, they gave him a bad rash, so i put desitin on it and it started bleeding eventually. the pediatrician said to use A%26amp;D and wet paper towels to clean him with. in 2 diaper changes there was no more bleeding. she said desitin is too thick and keeps the pee and poop on their skin when it soaks through the cream and it's harder to get off than A%26amp;D
Desitin, it smells yummy too, my baby has bad yeast infection rashes and it works because its thicker and stays on longer. I got mine at walmart for about 10 bucks
A%26amp;D the oldest one in the book I've tried them all bottom butter avveno nothing better than A%26amp;D trust me
sudocream
';Bootylicious'; from L'oreal Kids. Found in most drugstores, but if not, ask that creepy guy in the alley.
A%26amp;D ointment
Desitin Creamy
desitine
The hospital liked using A%26amp;D Ointment but I swear by Desitin!
You're gonna think that I really feel off my rocker, but I swear by it and my pediatrician says that it's fine to use.
Lotrimin...the anti-fungal stuff for your feet. It's found in the footcare aisle at Wal-Mart, Target, etc. My sister-in-law recommended it to me, and it works wonders....cleared that rash right up. I think, too, it must have a cooling effect upon application as my little one stopped squirming as soon as I applied some to her sore little bottom.
Hope that I have helped.
I use Diaper Goop. The NICU gave it to me for my son and it works great.
Beardoux's Butt Paste is the best thing I found, with Desitin coming in second. I hate Balmex, Johnsons and A%26amp;D Cream. My sister swears by Aquaphor, though I have never used it.
i found that sudo cream was the best.
It's called bag balm...it comes in a square green tin. My pediatrician recommended it and I love it. You'll see results after one use. You can find it at most drug stores and grocery stores.
sudocream
Desitin works fast and very well! Its the best.
A %26amp; D ointment it's in the baby care isle it's awesome or desitin either are very soothing for babies.
Resinol is the best. You have to ask your pharmacist to order it,but it works great. It's also great for a rash, and insect bites. It's the only thing I use on my babies. You don't need a prescription, but they don't usually keep it in stock.
Boudreauxs butt paste, Destins overnight creme or Dr Smiths all work well.
First try A%26amp;D ointment the plain one see how your baby responds cause some babies are allergic to zinc oxide.
