That's OK. There would not have been enough Behgay cream on your daughter's skin to cause real problems. Some cats love the scent of menthol, some hate it. My cats dislike the scent of menthol but adore eucalyptus and pine. OMG, I used to have a cat who LOVED the smell of Bengay !!! And the one I have now loves the smell of peppermint....whenever I use peppermint shampoo she climbs up on the back of the couch and licks and grooms me. It won't hurt your cat to do that. I think it's hilarious!
You should read the back of the Bengay tube to see what it says in the case of a child eating the medication and use this to help ecide what to do with this situation. I recommend calling a vet or vet emergency clinic to ask if this could be serious or not and they will tell you what to do .
